Caffe Del Sol is the coffee Caffe Vita started with in 1995, and it is still the roaster’s best seller. Caffe Vita describes the cup as milk chocolate, caramel and dark cherry, with the cherry adding a little tartness and the caramel carrying into the finish.
What’s in the Blend
Caffe Vita blends a natural process Brazil, a natural process Ethiopia and a washed Guatemala, and roasts the mix to a medium level.

Drawbacks
- Amazon only carries the 12 oz bag, sold by Bean Box rather than Amazon, and it costs more per ounce than buying direct from Caffe Vita.
- Costco sells it online only, as two 2 lb bags. Four pounds of whole bean coffee is a lot for one drinker.
- The dark cherry note adds some tartness. If you want a low acid, smoky cup, a darker roast suits you better.
- Costco and Caffe Vita list different origins for the blend, so check the bag if the origin matters to you.
