Cuisinart DCC-3000
The DCC-300 has a unique way, at least for home use, of keeping the brewed coffee out of sight and in a coffee reservoir. There is no coffee pot and coffee is brewed into a tank. There is a coffee dispenser flap that you push down to dispense coffee.
Since you can’t see the amount of coffee brewed, you will rely on the Coffee Gauge, which looks similar to a gas tank indicator.
The coffee brew basket and chamber that holds the brewed coffee can be easily removed to reveal the heating plate. This style prevents your coffee from burning while keeping it at an ideal temperature without a carafe or heating plate.
PROS
- Keeps coffee hot for up to 4 hours
- No carafes to clean or break
- Easy to use
- Self cleaning feature
- Comes with permanent gold-tone filter, paper filters, and charcoal filters
- Programmable Percolator
CONS
- Front water gauge reported inaccurate by some
- Maximum 6.25" inch cup height - Tall travel mugs won't fit
- Reports of weak seal which causes leaking
More on DCC-3000 Drawbacks
When coffee gets down to the last few drops the indicator gauge is sometimes off.
Owners have stated that the cord is too short. It is important to know that the 3” cord is extendable. Unlike most coffee machines, this model allows you to pull the cord out 24”.
Coffee cups cannot be larger than six and a quarter inch in height. Exactly 5.25″ cup clearance with the drip tray intact.
Some customers mentioned that the DCC-3200 leaked. Which, honestly, happens to many coffee makers.
Good thing Cuisinart comes with a 3-year warranty.

The variable heater plate range is 195-205° F, allowing coffee lovers to brew at their preferred temperature.
What the difference between the DCC-1200P1 & DCC-3200?

The DCC-1200P1 is 12 cups and the DCC-3200 is 14 cups.

CONS

Customers strained to view the dials and labels on the coffee maker. If you’re a senior or have bad eyesight, a magnifying glass will help you with viewing.
The number of cups on the carafe needs to reflect the tank indicator to better brewing experience. Also, it takes a lot of work to gauge the water level by looking at the tank.
Cuisinart DGB-2W
Look no further than Cuisinart DGB-2W if you need a uniquely designed coffee maker for brewing the perfect and consistent coffee pots.
The machine uses pods and/or freshly ground beans. The hopper holds 100g of beans in a tightly sealed container which keeps the beans fresher for longer.
The Cuisinart DGB-2W has a conical burr mill that grinds whole coffee beans and feeds them into the reusable filter cup for brewing. Choose the push a button to brew coffee in from three 3 different beverage sizes: 8, 10, and 12 oz with a press of a button.
This Cuisinart coffee maker is available in white and black.
PROS
- Multiple size options
- Easy-to-use push button
- Sealed hopper
- Available in white
CONS
- Design flaws in the hopper
- Not possible to adjust the strength of the coffee
- Grinder spills coffee grounds
More on DGB-2W Drawbacks
Some complained the brew was weak with no ability to change the brew strength. It is the most disappointing aspect for those who prefer strong coffee.
Though adding beans into the hopper is easy, considerations of a larger bean hopper to reduce the refill rate would’ve reduced the amount of complaints.
Last, coffee grinds spill on counters when it overfills the basket.
Cuisinart SS-10P1
The features and functionalities of the Single Serve SS-10P1 make it a worthy competitor of Keurig’s single-serve coffee makers. It’s a fully programmable coffee maker with adjustable temperature control settings, an on/off switch, and many more practical features.
With the Single Serve SS-10P1, you can make multiple beverage sizes from 4-12 ounces. The Blue backlit LCD control panel has a hot/extra hot brew temperature control for preparing tea, soup, hot cocoa, oatmeal, and many more.
The SS-10P1 is K-Cup compatible. Additionally, it has a HomeBarista Reusable Filter Cup, which is a trademarked way to say it uses a proprietary filter cup similar to K-cups. It can brew tea and ground coffee.
Notably, the included drip tray for the travel mug and the 72-ounce water reservoir are removable for cleaning and traveling needs.
When you feel like cleaning the brew chamber, the auto-rinse feature will do the job for you.
PROS
- Temperature control settings
- Comes with a drip tray
- Auto-rinse feature
CONS
- Not much stainless steel as described
- Hard to clean the water reservoir
- It splashes coffee if coffee cup is short
More on SS-10P1 Drawbacks
The Single Serve SS-10P1 has some design flaws. Most notably it typically splashes coffee in smaller cups.
The model says stainless steel, however the only stainless steel is on the drip tray. The machine is made of gray plastic.
The water reservoir lacks a handle making it impossible to carry it. Additionally, the plastic ridges on the reservoir’s bottom give users a hard time when cleaning, even if you have a brush.

Best White Cuisinart Coffee Maker

Cuisinart 1120 BK also comes with a 60 seconds reset feature to save your previous settings.
The pot is easy to clean. It comes out sparkling after a good wash. An indicator lets you know when to clean.

- Pre-set settings
- 60-second reset feature
- Brews fast
- Cleaning indicator

- Water window is hard to see
- Some complain the fast brew is weak
More on the DCC-1170BK Drawbacks
The water gauge is on the right and is shielded from overhead light, making it hard to track the water level. But a flashlight can help you see the level properly.
Because it brews coffee in 6 minutes it seems to be too weak for some users.

Cuisinart DCC-3200
Coffee Maker is Available in Black
The DCC-3200 is the most popular Cuisinart coffee maker, known for its ease of use and durability.
This coffee maker has other practical features like backlit buttons, turn off the beeping tone, self-cleaning, and auto-shutoff.
Its brew-strength control makes brewing regular or bold coffee flavors a breeze without sacrificing flavor and quality.
Note that it takes more time to brew bold flavors than regular ones.
The heater plate has three temperature settings: low, medium, and high. Choose your preferred brewing temperature and how long the plate should remain hot, from zero to four hours.
If you’re looking for an all-around dependable coffee machine that has practical bells and whistles then you can’t go wrong with the Cuisinart DCC-3200.
Pair the durability with the abundance of replacement parts available is why we think this is a top Cuisinart coffee maker.
PROS
- Durable
- Brew strength control
- Practical features
CONS
- Buttons may be too close for some
- Hard to get that last cup out
- Water reservoir lid doesn't open far enough
More on DCC-3200 Drawbacks
The carafe’s lid doesn’t snap back on well, so coffee pours over the counter. Place a protective cover on your counter before making coffee when trying to get the last drops of java out.
Cuisinart DGB-450
The Cuisinart DGB-450 is one of the best coffee makers with grinder on the market in the price range.
Cuisinart significantly improved the DGB-450, adding a transparent window to track the water amount they added.
It’s fully automated with 24-hour programmability, 1-4 cup settings, auto-off, and a self-clean feature.
Its grind and brew feature is time-saving. The blade grinder grinds coffee beans before brewing. But if you have pre-ground coffee, use the grind-off feature to brew your drink.
Like top Cuisinart coffee makers, the 10-cup glass carafe comes with a dripless spout, lid, knuckle guard, and a stainless steel handle.
You have the ability to choose between the thermal coffee pot and regular glass. The major benefit of a thermal carafe is that the coffee stays hot without a heating plate. Keeping a glass coffee pot on the heating plate is what typically gives coffee a burnt taste after a short time.
PROS
- Time-saving preset features
- Multiple brewing options
CONS
- Loud grinder
- More steps to clean than typical coffee maker
- Not burr or conical grinder (still sufficient for drip coffee)
More on DGB-450 Drawbacks
The blade grinder is loud. Keep in mind if you make coffee in the morning before everyone else wakes up. it can wake your family members if you make coffee early in the morning.
Buyers confessed that cleaning the Cuisinart 10 DGB-45 is more challenging than it seems. There are five pieces to be cleaned after brewing. You can only brew another pot after cleaning the basket and grinder.
